If you can use your own battle. Nice, now I wont have to try and sneak onto my brothers battle. Still, why dont they let you gift pre-orders? Thats actually good to hear. Ill give this a chance to settle down then before I make my mind up on it. Cant see it changing too much really. I was about to say. That makes a lot more sense. Whats the big deal? I already just traded gold to friends who needed a wow token. Its not a big deal but as a parent who has two minions that play WoW and Overwatch, as well as having a SO that plays WoW, I can now gift them Blizzard money to buy pets, mounts, loot boxes, etc. Its just a little more convenient. So its not just about wow tokens or gold. So we cant gift part of our own battle. We have to purchase additional battle. If so, for me personally, this is disappointing. I suck at making gold in-game, and have precious little real life money, so I couldnt take advantage of the WoW Token situation if I wanted to. But I suppose, for the good of the game, if this is true, Ill deal with it. I just wanted to be able to gift small amounts of my own battle. Its simple a matter of preparing the toons and their followers, always was that way. And no, you can still begin farming even with ilvl in Legion. The toon leveling up process, then the follower setup process, is done in a one-time manner, and youll have to level up your alts anyway, if you REALLY want to get in these kind of gold farming stuff. Right now even having only 5 characters is enough to keep your WoW time, might even buy 2 per month that way. Ofcourse there are other ways of gold farming, but the above one? You might sell an item in the AH for 1 million Gold, but the time for that gold to get in, to sell said item Imagine when I finish leveling my allied races From this point on, they might remove the gold missions from Legion, and move them to BFA content. You want to level up the toons during BFA or before it? That question goes also to all people that didnt take the chance to level up their alts during Legion Prepatch, and what a leveling it was. They seem to go and copy it to BFA prepatch, hope so, for the sake of those people that keep not touching their low level alts. Even if youre not gonna play them much, they might be like an employee to you. Use that to your advantage, the guy that posts the gold making guides from time to time in Wowhead would agree with me. But to all their needs. Blizz put that tool there for all to use, just dont come here complaining about no gold anymore, since at least this system is even easier than all others. And as they say No pain no gain. This site makes extensive use of JavaScript. Please enable JavaScript in your browser. Live PTR. Classic TBC. Blizzard has now added a way to gift Blizzard Balance to your BattleTag friends. You can purchase Blizzard Balance in pre-set amounts or even fill in your own value. From that option you then choose a Real ID or BattleTag from your list of Blizzard friends and a custom message if you so please, before heading to the payment page. Unfortunately, there is no way gift Blizzard Balance using your WoW gold. Once you purchase a WoW token, you can only redeem it for your account. One unintended effect of this change is that it makes it easier to buy certain things like raid carries for real money. However, real money in exchange for in-game transactions from someone else is still against the ToU and unsupported if one should ever get burned in such a deal.
